Dish Rolodex is built for cooks who want a private recipe library and a fun way to pick dinner. This policy describes what happens on your device when you use the website or the native app (iOS and Android via Capacitor).
Your dishes, photos, tags, owner name, and preferences are stored locally in the browser or app using local storage on the web and app-scoped storage (including Capacitor Preferences on native). We do not operate a server that receives your recipe library. There is no Dish Rolodex account or cloud backup unless you explicitly use Export in Settings to save a file you control.
If you add a dish photo, the app may use the device camera or photo library (native) or a file picker (web). Images are processed on your device, resized for performance, and stored only in your local library. We do not upload dish images to our servers.
The web build may use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage metrics (for example page views). It does not include your recipe text or photos. The native app bundle may not load the same analytics depending on build configuration.
Dish Rolodex is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
